What I'm about to say is undoubtedly going to be viewed as exaggeration or hyperbole, and while there is little I can do to combat this I must really hammer home that this is nothing but the honest truth; this business is the pinnacle of exceptional customer service. I simply cannot overstate that single fact. These people are the standard by which all my future customer service will be judged. Apart from being friendly, as one would expect in a customer service representative, the several staff I dealt with treated me as though I was a close family friend. They were personable, considerate, [fill in any other word for extremely friendly and easy to talk to] to a degree I simply have never experienced in my life. I say that 100% honestly. They took genuine interest in me and made a point to strike up conversation about things other than business in an extremely pleasant way (sometimes people trying to hard to do this can be abrasive but these folks were not at all). If I had to limit my review to a single point it would be their customer service as saying "they go above-and-beyond" would be a flagrant understatement. While the customer service alone is enough to warrant returning here for future maintenance, what locked me in as a customer-for-life was thier honesty. I'm sure most people think about how much you can trust ANY mechanic since the industry itself has the cliche stereotype of being shady. I'm no different here, and since I know next to nothing about automotove maintenance, I am always worried about getting ripped off. I was referred here by a person I trust and because of that I had a bit more trust for Elite. I explained to Mike, my Elite salesperson, that I know NOTHING about cars and to just do what they believe is needed and ring me up. In effect, I gave them a blank check (figuratively not literally) for what I expected to cost between $1000 and $2000. They gave me an initial estimate of $1182 and change. I "ok'd" the cost and they got to work. It took them 24hrs to complete the job so I was able to drop it off Monday and pick it up the next day. Not only was that a much faster turn around than I would have ever guessed for the extent of the repairs & maintenance they were doing, but when they called me to let me know it was ready for pick up, I was greeted with some great news; the cost came in under budget and the final cost was $925. They saved me ~$250. Just to reiterate; they knew for a fact I know nothing about cars. They knew for a fact I was willing to pay up to $2000 for the repairs/maintenance without question or hesitation. They could have charged me the full 2k and I would have thanked them and walked out with a smile on my face... Knowing all of these thing, they were still completely 100% open and honest and charged me what the accurate cost should have been. They have proven to me that they are trustworthy which is, in my opinion, the single greatest attribute a company can strive for. For all of these reasons (and a few more that I've excluded from this review to avoid writing an essay) Elite Auto Repair is the only mechanic I will ever go to. It's the only mechanic I will ever recommend to others moving forward. I simply can not emphasize enough how grateful I am to this company, as well as grateful to my friend for recommending them which led to me interacting with this wonderful company. If I could give more stars I would.
